No singer on this one so you can hear JS in action better.

There is a part at the end that I just realized needs to probably follow the rest of the song better instead of playing straight through like I commanded JS to do.

edit: I did the change to the end part I mentioned. 1 minute later it was much better.

Jamstix Rules.

That's really good man. The heavy guitars that you layered are too "fizzy" and lack definition to my ear and something is out of tune on that last hit at the end of the song. I'm listening on ear buds so take all of this with a grain of salt. I like it though, hell, maybe I am a country fan LOL.

too funny.

you are right. i plan to redo those. i was experimenting with my dual rec's slave out there and using speakers IRs. so i need to work on that more. you know i had better make sure i didn't bypass the speaker IRs now that you mention it.

i am waiting for 2 Notes Captor which I pre-purchased in Feb. In the meantime, I am trying other things. I normally mic my amps but that is a pain since it just me.

that out of tune note at the end was done on purpose.

jamstix made producing this song possible. before jamstix, i used the old hunk and peck midi keyboard to drum software. i am not a drummer. the results were always uninspiring. not anymore. i have been using jamstix for years and i still feel like i have just scratched the surface on its ablilities.

That is some nice, tight production right there. Will there be a vocal track at some point?

I'm personally a refugee from midi loops (when I didn't have a drummer available). I've been using JS since 2010 and honestly I am floored by this software every time I use it. The best software purchase I've ever made, hands down and honestly, the realization of something I've dreamed about since I started recording back in 78. (I'm old LOL)
