After a number of years of using free VSTs, I've finally invested this summer in some high quality virtual instruments (hooray!). Here's one result: a short jam using Jamstix (my first day with it), Warm Jazz Guitar by Pettinhouse, and Straight Ahead Samples' acoustic jazz bass. Hope you like the music.

Oops, I forgot to add that in the track above Jamstix was controlling NI's Studio Drummer.

Nice.Reminds me a little of some of the jazz backing in the film,"Bullitt".
I know it was a ,"Quicky"but you make the same mistake on this mix many guitarists do(Myself included if I'm not careful) you have the guitar too high in the mix.
When you are getting close to finishing/posting anything remember that you need your,"Audience" hat on.
When I'm close to posting/mastering something I walk off with the mix running and make a drink to distract myself. If nothing in the mix jumps out or is buried I know I'm close
