doesn't your host sequencer have a metronome?
I wanted to post a feature request (and please pardon me if there is someway to do this) but I think it would helpful if there was a metronome in the bar editor. If I am playing edrums (or using a keyboard) while in learn mode, it would be useful if there was a metronome playing if I was relying on the preview bar and not the host to come up with a groove etc that I wanted JS to work with.

It does buy while in preview mode, the host doesn't play.

What I do in Sonar is set up a playback loop for however many bars I need. I find preview mode to be really limiting because it's only one bar, and I may have a groove in mind that spans out over 2-3-4 bars ect. If you set it up this way, you get your click track & more flexibility.

No error just no sound!

Is this because there are no maps for Kontakt?

Also what has to be tiked for it to just send to external player?

Thanks

Try this: load a Steven Slate Drums kit that comes with JS. It will try to load Kontakt so point it to your Kontakt 4 DLL. Now load a kit in Kontakt and then click the drums in the JS3 virtual kit to make sure they trigger the right sounds in Kontakt. If not, adjust the MIDI key in JS3. When finished, save it as a new kit.
