Jamstix on OSX, the final hack (ARCHIVED)

Post by Robitaille20 »

Well I guess that persistence pays off! I'm a little reluctant to say that I do believe that I have FINALLY gotten MIDI sync to work in both Studio One AND Logic Pro! You have to attack each of them differently... but it CAN be done. I'm thinking of making a couple of YouTube videos for my channel explaining the process in each DAW to help anyone else that runs into this if anyone is interested. Let me know!

Cool! Getting ready to head out for the night on date night with the wife.... I'll see what I can do about getting something put together in the next day or so.

Do you need full instructions or are you just looking for the sync part?

That's a great video - and I would never have worked that all out on my own! Thank you!!

I'll have a look at getting this done this week!

Awesome! Glad that it may be of some help. It was certainly a LOT of trial and error to get it figured out... let me know if you run into any problems or have any questions.

Thanks Robitaille!

All set up and ready to go!!

At some point, I will need to figure out sound transfer as well so I can use Jamcussion - but I don't use that much so I can live without that until the need drives me to figure it out!!

Thanks again.

The video was excellent. Didn't miss a step and everything in a logical order. I suspect you have a future in online tutorials!

I appreciate you going to all that effort.

Wow... Thanks for the kind words. I've never really done anything like that before and it's actually a little nerve wracking to make sure you cover everything and don't come off as a dork. LOL. Thanks for the feedback, I truly appreciate it... It was my pleasure to do it. Can't wait to hear what you come up with now. Rock on brother!
