You know what? I read "HIT" instead of "KIT". That means something.

Thanks for sharing Ralf, I'm sure the interaction will help you and that you will be able to make the difference when one of us is ranting instead of helping. Set your filter to "on". ;)

Lookin' good, Ralph.

I agree with the font comments, those tabs on the top are hideous. :P
The fonts for "Shuffle" and "Preview" look really good, though.

+1 for the font comments! "Preview" and "Shuffle" look good and are easy to read; the ones on the tabs not so much. Those highly stylized fonts get old pretty fast, IMO.

Also, if that's roughly the total size of the GUI I'd prefer the bar editor larger and the kit smaller. The editor is the "business end", and all you need to be able to do in the kit pane is click on a drum (unless something's changed there).

Definitely an improvement overall, though! :D

Thanks-

I agree with Susan. There is no need for a large, realistic picture of a drum kit - a schematic will do. You'll find that you'll have more space on the GUI to incorporate features. Place the emphasis on the grid editor and the rhythm controls. Don't try to emulate "realistic" knobs and faders, etc; the emphasis should be on ease of use. Keep things clean and simple - like me.

That's great news!

Could I just clarify what you mean "ALL CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT JAMSTIX 2 ON OR AFTER 05/11/2009 WILL RECEIVE A FREE UPGRADE TO JAMSTIX 3! ....." Do you mean 5/11/2008..

Just need to confirm I'm included.

Thanks

I'm sorry but the cutoff is 05/11/09 just as written in the statement.

Is this the old UK / USA date confusion?

5/11/08 is 5th Nov08 in the UK but 11th May 08 in the US AFAIK.

So the cutoff is 5th May 2009, I miss both dates by years anyway.

Come on. Try to get Zen. One date had to be set and it's even great to announce it 4 months before delivery.

Upgrade from 1 to 2 was 49$... And your sounds from packs will still be available.
