FXpansion is irrelevant in this context since it's for wrapping [i:75db3e3541]Mac[/i:75db3e3541] VSTs to AUs. It can't handle Windows VSTs at all.
I think that trying to trick JS 2 or 3 in one way or another to run on Macs is really only fruitful if one is more committed to hacking than making music…
The obvious thing is to just sit tight and wait a bit longer, since Ralph is apparently committed to re-writing JS in C++ for subsequent porting to OS X.
I recently switched from PC to intel Mac and I "still" purchased JS3 just to stay in the loop...
I miss my JamStix...

Me to. Just buy it and now waiting with hope the out coming of a Mac version. meanwhile, i'm trying to use it with midiclock and midisync through my Pc and mac, but it's a little bit tricky...

At the moment I´d recommend to put a Win XP Bootcamp partition on your Mac.
Works flawlessly for me and you don´t have to wait for JS on Mac OS which could still take quite some time to come out.
I'm still running Jamstix with Reaper via Crossover Pro 7 on Leopard, but only Crossover 8+ work on Snow Leopard. Jamstix 2/3 "work" on Crossover Pro 8/9 under Snow Leopard--except for the audio jam function, which doesn't work for me at all. Has anyone had any luck with running Jamstix on Crossover under Snow Leopard?
oh glad to hear that Jamstix3 still works. I'm not sure I'm gonna bother to upgrade again though unless Rayzoon makes actual OSX version. Jamstix2 is working fine for me, after a lot of fiddling.

So if I run Windows thru Bootcamp to run Jamstix, and Logic 9 is tied to the Mac OS, just how am I gonna get Jamstix loaded onto a Logic track since I can only have Windows OR the Mac OS booted, and not both at once?
