That may be the problem. When the host is REAPER and a save is requested during play, the save request is ignored. I will change this in the next beta. Until then, please make sure to stop REAPER before saving.
The reason behind it is that while the host is playing, data is continuously changed within Jamstix (unlike most other plugins).

Yeah, could be. I'll do some tests.

Okay, Ralph, you are a gentleman!
That was it. Did a few test projects. Inserting Jamstix 2, saving without playing back. I did this three or four times. Each time, I would change something, and save it. And each time it loaded back properly.
I then did a few more tests, the same as above, but saving whilst playing back.
Each time I reloaded the project, it did not retain its settings.

- if i load addictive drums as subhost then close the ad drums window, i cannot re open it again, even if i click on the edit button, which usually reopens the subhost window doesnt seem to work as it probably should

I've had this problem as well using DR008.

yeah just use the minimize and maximize window buttons for tjhe subhost window control, but if you make one slip, you have to delete the entire vsti track and rebuild it from scratch yeeeow!

Close/reopen the host project should solve the subhost GUI issue.

I'm having an odd problem with my submix routing, and I don't know if I am doing something wrong or misinterpreting the issue. I set up a group folder in reaper on track 1. Track 2 has Jamstix loaded, and tracks 3-10 are set up to receive from track 2 in the appropriate order (kick, snare, toms etc). For some reason the kick signal is also hitting track 2 where I have Jamstix loaded. None of the other drum channels are doing that. The kick is much louder and clipping unless I pull it way back on track 3. Even with all the channels pulled all the way down, I see signal hitting track 2. Possibly related- I can't seem to get the ambiance signal sent to track 10, if I select 'send to last' I don't hear anything. I had this working months ago with an old template, but I tried to do my own from scratch and I am probably missing something. Any tips or advice is appreciated!
Edited- I got the ambiance working, needed to remove and reload Jamstix in the FX chain and it did the trick. Still can't figure out the kick drum bleeding into track 2, but I have tried a few other templates and it does the same thing, so I must just misunderstand how this works.

Yes, I needed to raise the setting 3 octaves. Middle C seems to be C3.
I also needed to "Arm" the track in REAPER for Jamstix to hear midi signals.
Thanks
