Jamstix 4.4.2 is now out. Check out the new 'Stop' feature in the fill generator.

Still troubleshooting this but if I change something in the Fill page, it "silences" all the drums for that part. They are still there (i.e. hits showing) just not playing.

Seems to be happening if "FULL" recompose is selected.

OK. With, "FULL" recompose highlighted, if I move anything in the brain for the fills, the playback of the part stops and the hits of the fill look like they are continuously recomposing, like stuck in an endless loop. If I stop the playback I can watch the hits continuously change. If I un-highlight "FULL" it stops. If I re-highlight "FULL" it starts again, even if I haven't further changed anything.

Can you do a 'Save Song' in the project and send me the file?

Due to composition issues with 4.4.2 (PC) for some users, we have recalled the Build and will instead start a Beta phase on it shortly. If you have already installed 4.4.2 (PC), please run the manager again and let it revert you back to 4.4.1

We apologize for the inconvenience!

Hi Ralph, I just upgraded (from a several months old version) to 4.4.3 and recomposition is now completely broken, unfortunately. Whenever I press "recompose" (in "full" recomposition mode), I end up with exactly one bar (the one that was active) and all others are emptied.

Please help, this is preventing me from making music.
How can I downgrade to a working version?
The Jamstix Manager, as convenient as it may seem, is a very problematic tool in this regard, as it doesn't seem to allow me to revert to the old version if there is a problem. I don't see any alternatives on the rayzoon download page either.

Please do a 'Save Song' in the project that does this and send me the file. I will get you back up and running quickly.

We were having some recomposing issues with an earlier release, which seemed to be fixed (still not seeing any problems here). What DAW are you using? Can you try some different projects and see if it is in a particular style, or drummer? Is it in Groove, Accents, Fills or all of them? You could also send ralph some logs to help troubleshoot. Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to revert to an older version. Hopefully, Ralph will reply soon (oh, actually replied while I was typing!).

An example of a song where this happens is this:
https://www.power-xs.net/opcode/temp/gone.j2d
The part called "Verse 3" was already "recomposed" and therefore is mostly empty.

I have also tried loading several old projects and the problem occurs in all of them. Full Groove recomposition composes only 1 bar and empties the rest. I use mostly Custom Rock and Lars, but it also happened with other combinations.

I am using Cubase 10.0.40 on Windows 10.

To clarify: the empty bars do not get composed on my machine when they get played; they remain empty.
