Yes Ralph.
Hi Ralph and everyone
I'm using Ableton live 8.11 right now.For the midi,I can click on configure and then click on a button, and that will go into a box where you set it to midi map to a midi foot pedal. What I'd like to do is click the half time button into the configure box,and then map that to my midi foot pedal..Is this possible?

I have an interesting one. I just bought Steven Slate EX (No Brainer deal at Audio Midi), and when I play it it works great, but if I move the power button and let go, I lose the sounds for a bit. I don't think I ever had this issue with the native sounds. If I hold the power button and twist it, it works well, it is just when I let it go.

Hello, a couple things about A13:
1) Loading kits with "Keys only" enabled doesn't seem to work (it didn't in 2.5.2 as well): I have some Steven Slate Drums kits and I want to load just the MIDI key map to drive the plugin externally instead of subhosting it.
But the key map isn't loaded, it stays empty or like before loading the kit - the same happens with stock JS2 kits.
2) I find the GUI a little too large, is it possible to scale it down or reduce some space (for example, the "kit", "options" etc. buttons are way too big for me)?
3) And, can you display next to each part the drummer and style like in 2.x?
Thanks,
Mario

Check "Midi Only" on the mixer page before you load the kit preset you want and you will get no samples loading but the keymap will be operating. Works great for me.

I'll check that out.

Nothing we can do at this time. We'll take that into account for updates later on.

If you click on the PART label in the song sheet you can switch to drummer or style display

Mr Fee, thank you thank you thank you for the tip about using JS in midi-only mode. It is hard to remember every nook and cranny of every VST one owns, and this was one nook I had forgotten about.
My $20 SSDEx is now slamming away quite happily on my old PC.
You do indeed merit the title of Jam meister.

I think I got the honorific just from the number of posts. Nice to know one of my posts helped someone.

In relation with my other Q in the JS3 preorder thread:
Do you plan another beta which extends the beta expiration date?
Just curious.
