the main argument right now is that $49 for the upgrade is just too cheap to discount for a pre-order considering that you not only get a new plugin but also a new drum kit, new players and new styles. Usually the latter items alone would cost $49 as a Pak...
Ralph, stop wasting time on arguing.

At 49$ it's a steal and anyone willing to pay 39$ will pay 49$ anyway... Go Beta 7 - Go !

(no offense Jason)

I'd be totally satisfied with a $49 pre-order. I just... I just want to pay for it so it feels more real to me. I feel this insatiable desire for it, unlike anything I've ever experienced. I feel it all the way down in my loins.

Oh now that's just wrong, so wrong, so very, very wrong. Jason... that's just wrong. Lions, no, that's wrong, you really shouldn't feel that. Leave those Lions alone, it's just wrong.

$49 for Jamstix 3, that's cheap, so cheap etc. etc.

I don't need a discount for pre-ordering, I just want the product asap and I am very happy to pay up front to show my support for this brilliant plug in.

I was running the beta A5 through its paces and was trying to find a way to run Jam Stix with a keyboard controler. I could not figure out how to patch it so I could do this. What am I missing? Host is Sonar 8.5 Also I have been unable to find how to host another program in Jamstix like Session Drummer 3. In JAmstix 2 there was a clear visable way to do this.
Thanks!

When you say 'run Jamstix with a keyboard controller', what exactly do you want to do?

Subhosting in JS3 is done via the kit window as in JS2. Click on the plugin label in the lower/left corner of the kit panel to see a menu for this.

To play via keyboard controller:
Run Jamstix 3 in Sound Module Mode - deselect the active Jam function. (To clarify, make sure Normal Jam, MIDI Jam, Audio Jam are not selected.)

To subhost a vsti:
On the Kit page, click the text "Plugin not selected" at the bottom left of the image of the kit (underneath the chimes).

Both of those evaded my eyes/brain the first time I used JS3, too.

I I just got a chance yesterday to check this out - I like the new look! I hope to get more into it & actually provide some feedback  but I'm pretty sure I'll be in for the upgrade. :)
