Is there anyone still here from Rayzoon??? I posted a support request about Jamstix 4 installer not working on Big Sur in Feb and still no news! Is Jamstix already abandonware???? $250 down the drain? really? Anyone?

Manager doesn’t launch. Ran it from the command line and got this:
[code:1:f5ef5bd686]% ./Contents/MacOS/Jamstix4Manager

Jamstix hasn't been abandoned. If you've used Jamstix as long as I and other users in this forum have, you'd know this is how things go from time to time. When Ralph gets it figured out he'll let us know about it.

Completely understand the frustration. The macOS version will be updated to work with BigSur but it is taking a long time for various reasons. We truly apologize for this!

Ok thanks, it's good to know you're still on it... Big Sur is a big change (pun intended), so if you could use someone to help test the newer builds, get more data points, etc. I'd be more than happy to contribute.

Ok, So ive noticed Jamstix4 Manager is now opening on Big Sur, and i have managed to re-installed all my libraries also. I still get the ERROR cannot sync with CORE (LE:0) with Jamstix4 and its still unusable, Seems like something is being worked on in the background. Anyway just wanted to give the feedback i noticed.

So it loads and runs under Rosetta? That sounds like good news. Will it play previously recorded Jamstix parts/songs on your system? Which DAW are you using? Hope you don’t mind the questions, it’s just that any good news is good news.
Steve.

Hi Chip,
Can you confirm that you have Jamstix running under Rosertta 2 on Apple silicon macs? I'm eager to know because Jamstix 4 stopped working on my intel mac during Catalina, then worked, then stopped again and hasn't worked for over a year.
Steve.

Any update on Jamstix for Monterey, M1 chips etc? Seems really quiet on here - so sad for such a fabulous product. Worried that the Mac users have simply left for Logic drummers...
