Hi Ralph,

Is the Audio Output value going to be limited to eight stereo now? If so, you may want to cap the individual instrument output values too, so one can't assign a non-existent output.

Thanks,
G

Hi Ralph,

Am I right in saying that the white bordered brain frames are "Style" elements, and the orange ones are "Player" elements?

Thanks,
G

The mixer menu is not yet active in the Beta. It's just load/save anyway.

CPU Utilization dramatically improved in Beta 10 on Studio One V2!

Having difficulty getting AudioM8 to drive Jamstix.
I have it inserted on an audio track and set Jamstix to Audio Jam but I do not see any audio showing up on the Audio indicator at the bottom of Jamstix.

I am STOKED! First run through John's default Metal song, and not a single CPU spike!!! Ralph deserves a programmers award!!!

A very happy,
G

[EDIT: Audio M8 does not appear to be working at all. I place it on an audio track with a signal and switch JS to Audio Jam, but I don't get anything.]

Are you getting AudioM8 to work? if so how?
Oh see your edit now...
Guess it is not working for Studio One.

Further testing EZdrummer template compared to actual EZdrummer working kinda... Jamstix seem to get it confused with previous EZdrummer mapping installed. So selecting one from the ToonTrack directory then coming back it thinks it was one from my original template mapping (3.3)
I guess there will have to be some more clean up.

The utilization is significantly improved but still not as good as on Reaper.
Still seeing an idle utilization between 7-8% with spikes to 20% Where as it was spiking to 100% in Beta 9

@jpettit: No, it's not working...but it's 64-bit native! :D I have the utmost faith in Ralph's awesome programming abilities. There's no doubt he'll figure this out. I'll have to mess with the EZD template and let you know what I see...

Btw, your S1 video tutorials are among the best available! Thanks for doing them!!

Hey! Try setting it to MIDI Jam....I'm not seeing an audio signal, but the "Power" is moving now...keep in mind that I have an audio track with a vocal and AudioM8 loaded, so it's not actually MIDI.

[EDIT: Sorry...I had a MIDI feedback loop configured....

At least we know that the MIDI input works though!!! :D ]
