I may have found something very minor.
Place a hit on the bar editor manually. It appears and the word "Locked" is highlighted in blue. Now click on the word, "Locked" to unlock it. For me, nothing happens. Now click on another note that was generated by the brain. Then go BACK to your original note that was created manually. It now will UNLOCK when the word "Locked" is clicked on and the blue highlighting goes away.
Obviously, no big deal. I will see if I can consistently reproduce it. It may have just been a stray 'tron.

Requesting other Studio One user to look at CPU usage of Jamstix to see if there s a correlation.
I am seeing 8-20% CPU usage with one track running the 12 bar blues.
Sometimes spikes to 100%.
I am seeing a low CPU usage in Reaper and Sonar X1 for the same test.
Win 7 i7 950 12 meg ram.
Thanks

FYI, we will add a new audioM8 to Beta 10 since many of you don't have hosts that can route audio to a VSTi.

Will this be optional, so we can decide to install audioM8 or not? For those who have the ability to route audio to vsti...
Is audioM8 also x64vst?

Oh, yes, sorry. I meant the right-side panel of the Pak installer where it displays the installation progress.

Weren't planning on making this optional, it's just a DLL. Also, Jamstix will automatically switch between audio input analysis and audioM8 based on whether audioM8 is loaded in the host.
New audioM8 will support VST32, VST64 and RTAS.

I've been testing beta 7 for a while and had some issues with the recomposing of parts or measures that seem to have been addressed with Beta 9 according to the list of changes from from Jamstix 3.5 Beta 7.
The spacebar is a nice addition especially but what I would really like is keyboard shortcuts for cutting, copying and pasting in the song sheet and bar editor windows.
The usual use of CTRL+X, CTRL+C, CTRL+V would be appreciated. Even better if we could create our own keyboard shortcuts for Jamstix various menu items.
I would also like the possibility of selecting multiple parts in the song sheet window with CTRL+click and SHIFT+click as is the norm with many windows software.
Although the text is clearer in 3.5 than in previous versions, some of it is still very small. It would be nice to be able to have a full screen interface especially when using two monitors. Contrary to most VSTis where you just load a sound and play it on your keyboard or other controller, working with Jamstix is more mouse and screen intensive.
