Just updated. In the lower right hand corner it says - [b:9d9769f61f]INIT[/b:9d9769f61f] - instead of my name.

Jamstix 4.4.6 (PC) Released

Post by dimapet_3 »

Good day! Since upgrading to the current version with Jamstix 3, I feel a very strong change in the factory drum set presets, which includes the same trend with additional libraries. The sound of Jamstix 3 was more natural with minimal internal processing settings. The factory sound of Jamstix 4, with the exception of a few presets, is very aggressively compressed and hardly applicable in my practice. This applies even to the Dry Kits series. Unfortunately, compared to Jamstix 3, it takes a lot of time to release the sound, and, if it is technically possible, to include in the presets their counterparts Jamstix 4 in the "old" version of the sound. Also, as a wish, I would like to optimize the load on ASIO more, I noticed one tendency - when I load the plug on the DAW track (I mainly use Studio One 4), the plug-in with the stock preset on my system takes 8-10% of ASIO boot however, after several minutes of working with grooves, the load may increase to 30–40%. However, the program is still unique and continues to delight with its functionality, thanks to Ralph.

A release candidate for 4.3.0 is now available. Let us know if there are any showstoppers keeping this version from being officially released. Thanks!
