Thanks Ralph I got your mail and it worked out ok. Unfortunately I am having trouble getting the video to sync with the audio output. I have my soundcard latency down to 2ms but the sound doesn't fit the video.

Just for testing, please change the audio driver used in your DAW to DirectSound and see if the kit and audio are synched.

it looks like it is my DAW. I'm on midi playback and if I hit the note in the piano roll it plays almost instantaneously.

In case anyone is interested, I tried out JS4 in wine, doesn't work. Looking forward to the OSX release.

Anyone with JS4 free version installation or usage issues, please run the manager and let it update you to Jamstix 4.0.2. If you still have any issues, post here or drop me an email. Thanks!

If you've already gotten 4.0.2, run the manager again for 4.0.3, which fixes a host data load problem. Truly apologize for all this "1.0 release" hassle!
