I have high confidence in the Beta 2. An official release is a few weeks away because we're trying to get some more new features into it.

It seems to me this should go a little further- under say 100bpm or so the velocity adjustment should taper off, down to no adjustment at 65. At around 80 or 90bpm, most drummers (note I am not one, so this is all gleaned from paying attention to their habits) would play the first of two sequential 16th kicks at maybe 75% normal velocity. I'd say it should be what it is now, about 50% iirc, at about 120bpm, and taper off to no velocity adjustment beyond the velocity randomizing controls below 65.Ralph [RZ] wrote:[b:62f922de60]Changes From 2.5.1[/b:62f922de60]

I'm thinking about making it switchable. The reason for the 65 is that there are very specific kick patterns with significantly lower velocity on the leading 16th. We didn't want to ruin that so for now the automatic is at 65BPM.dysfunction wrote:It seems to me this should go a little further- under say 100bpm or so the velocity adjustment should taper off, down to no adjustment at 65. Just released Beta 3 with a fix for running out of fill clusters when using 'Mark' in 7 or more parts of a song.

Hi Ralph. What are the expanded fill generator capabilities I don´t seem to get with Mark model plus latest beta? I´m sure I´m missing something, but I don´t see any new capability in fillsChanges From Beta 1
expanded fill generator capabilities for upcoming 'Mark' model
notes sent from the brain to a subhosted VSTi are now sent with the MIDI channel specified for the sound
if the tempo is 65BPM or less, kick velocities in 16th clusters are no longer velocity-adjusted
Thanks.

Ralph, I'm getting odd clicks and missing audio for the first few ms of some of the drum and cymbal hits when I use any of the recent beta's.
I am running on Vista x64 SP2 and Sonar 8.3.1 x64. I normally run with a buffer size of 128 on my delta cards latency of 2.7 ms. I have tried both wdm and asio with the same result. If I raise the latency settings up to 8ms or above the JS plays correctly. That latency is fine for mixing etc but I like it much lower when recording the other tracks.
I've had this problem with the beta's issued after 2.5 (the 2.51 beta's and the 2.52 beta's)
Both 2.5 and 2.51 final have worked better for me at the lower latencies.
Could this could be related to bitbridge or possibly some debugging code that is in the beta's?
I would love to see a 64 bit version of JS dll, any chance that is in the works?
I'm excited about the new features and the new drummer etc. looking forward to the final of 2.5.2 perhaps it will not have this issue.
Thanks for you and your teams hard work.
