VST3 support? (or suggestions for a VST2 -> VST3 wrapper

True, but that seems to have a lot more included, making it more expensive. Looking at Metaplugin right now.

[b:fb5d46d9b4]PS[/b:fb5d46d9b4] Kontakt 6 is already available as a VST3.

Although bridge is not yet needed, I purchased Metaplugin yesterday. I want to explore the other possibilities that it offers, especially the crossover filter, that allows to experiment with interesting parallel processing paths, each one for different frequency range.

Oh good. I am still on Kontakt 5 for my full version (from Komplete 11). I do have Kontakt 6 Player but never really used it. I do need to update my Komplete the next time they are on sale.

Is there any update on this?

Ralph, have the issues been resolved?
A VST3 roadmap would give us Cubase users peace of mind.

Also using Cubase 15 here, and Jamstix is the only plug-in I have that does not (yet) have a VST3 version, but I see that Ralph has announced this is now in planning -- great news! (link)

In the meantime, I am trying to avoid activating VST2 support in Cubase 15, so I'm using Blue Cat Audio's excellent PatchWork as a wrapper.

When I tried this first, Jamstix would crash the host (both PatchWork and Cubase) instantly, with no crash log or other warning, simply disappearing from the screen. With the help of Fred in Blue Cat Audio, I am now able to host Jamstix using the PatchWork Synth plug-in as a VST3.

The critical workaround, discovered by Fred, is to load the PatchWork "Wrapper" preset first, then load the Jamstix VST2 (but don't open the editor), then configure the PatchWork Audio I/O for that instance of Jamstix to have less than 16 outputs. That can all be saved then as a PatchWork preset and loaded by the PatchWork Synth VST3 in Cubase or any other DAW.

As an added benefit, the PatchWork stand-alone is a full VST host, so you also get a stand-alone version of Jamstix with no need for a DAW!

Thanks for the tip!
