Ralph, sometimes Jamstix forgets its settings in Reaper. I can open up a project and the kit, style and drummer have disappeared.
Drummers, you see - you can never rely on 'em...
ah. I though the disk icon was temporary saves for an "undo like" function (and a limited amount of saves). I've been using the Save Song and that seems to work for now. thanks!Ralph [RZ] wrote:We'll have a Beta 2.5.1 soon which may fix this problem. Until then, use the disk icon in the middle of JS2 to save copies of your project. It also does that automatically based on the time set in the 'Options'.

JS only loses the settings for me in Reaper if I try and save when it's running. If it's stopped it takes longer to save but saves everything.
In Reaper's preferences make sure in the VST section you have,
Save Full Plug-in state enabled and the Bank save option underneath as well
I am having the same problem, with Jamstix Demo version. I did include the correct path in the VST path form. When installing Addictive Drums I faced the same problem. Would Jamstix be supported on Vista 64bits? Or do I need any software to allow Jamstix to work on Vista 64?dannyslayer wrote:Im having a problem, I want to use the Jamstix demo in reaper but when I go to put the program on a track, it doesnt read on reaper. I downloaded the program and installed it but it wont show up when I click the fx button on the track. There is no jamstix under the VSTi listing. any ideas?
Simple question first: Did you re-scan the VST directory in REAPER after you loaded Jamstix?schuur_man wrote:I am having the same problem, with Jamstix Demo version.
