(Sorry if this is already covered in the forum, but search doesn't allow search on "time" and/or "signature")
I have a chorus with two measures of 4/4 followed by one measure of 2/4. This repeats 4 times. I thought I could set the time signature to 10/4 so I could have the whole thing as one part, but the part time signatures only go up to 9/4 (per manual). Is there any way to do this other than a two measure part followed by a one measure part, then keep linking the parts? This prevents the proper RF and TF from working and just doesn't have the same feel as a full chorus of 12 measures.
Changing Time Signatures within the same Part
Re: Changing Time Signatures within the same Part
Disable automatic fills in the song parts then just copy/paste the 2 4/4 plus the 1 2/4 measures after creating them wherever they're needed. Then go back and create manual fills in the bars where you want them. Would that work for you?
Re: Changing Time Signatures within the same Part
Thanks, I will try that. I guess there wasn't a more automatic technique I had yet to uncover. I should be able to get something working one way or another.

Your original proposed 10/4 solution seems like it could be a good way to deal with the matter.
Too early for a Jamstix 5 Wishlist?
(I would be grateful just to get current functionality in VST3 format for future-proofing, but anything else is a bonus!)

Indeed, I was kind of surprised when it wouldn't allow 10/4 but I guess there have to be some limitations on the magic under the hood.
