Hi wondered if anyone has ideas of the best drummer to use for late 50s early 60s rock n roll a la Carl Perkins, very early Beatles. Sort of very rocky but with a bit of swing.

I would start with Charlie or Star (if you have the Neo60 pak) and the Style Country>Rockabilly. You should be able to dial in something useful. Keep in mind that the drum sound is going to matter a lot also if you're going for authenticity.

It’s late here in south west France so will try your suggestions tomorrow
Already tried Charlie and was sounding better but not very keen on his throw ins ( in accents).
Not after authentic sound just authentic feel with a little more aggression.
