New Drummer Ideas, Ralph

alph', 'How about let's start recognizing these style drummers(below). They cover from Prince to Bowie to Elton and Madonna to Earth Wind and Fire, and many more. They're not one trick ponies, but they always bring the funk. I am specifically not talking about James Brown or Tower of Power funky drum patterns, but modern RnB enabled drummers. I can kind of get there some times with Roger and Carter and a lot of monkeying around, but this is Jamstix, isn't that the unpoint? And don't get me wrong, I just love Carter and Roger and use them all of the time. Maybe if we could save drummer states where they finally seem to understand all of the do's and don't's we've asked of them, just like working with real drummers. We've all been there before, haha.

Thanks for the input!
Also, you can use Brain menu->Save Player Preset to save a specific the state of a drummer for repeat use. This also works if you've used 'Extract From Other Player' to create a hybrid but it will always save as a preset of the drummer named in the brain as the source drummer.

That sounds great, as I've always a good bit to do to get them in the neighborhood. I hope it doesn't change the original drummer.
