Questiosn re upgrade (purchased)

Post by miden_1 »

Can I use all my JS2 and JS3 XL kits or does JS4 use only the data with it?

And if so, will it use the existing kit data or should I re-instal all the kits to JS4?

Can I make JS4 a "clean" install (as long as I have my JS3 serial #)? IE can I remove JS3 and then install JS4...

Thanks

Yes, yes, and yes.
JS4 uses an Installation Manager that installs all your paks, etc.

I've had jamstix (3.x) for quite a while, but not installed on my current machine. Looking to get the upgrade; does the upgrade download all the paks too? Got most, but not all, of them.

Yes, the $29 update will migrate all your existing Paks to JS4 (XL, MetalPak, BonzoPak, Jamcussion) at no additional cost.

Trying to send PM but not working. Not 100% sure the username/email for my account. If it's seekerdave, the email addie for that is dead now (ISP went bellyup 3 years ago without notice.)

Got your PM that you're all set. Let me know if you have any further issues.

Hi gear_head,

Send an email to support with the Manager app also. Ralph will probably see that quicker than a PM. He'll get you straightened out once he does.
