Hi, did you manage to get this working on M1 Mac in any DAW?
OK ignore me, user error. I'm new to Mac but probably not a great excuse - all of the Install Option tick boxes were unchecked so I blindly checked them - one being "install without sound data". The first one "use Jamstix 3 sound data" I guess is implied checked.
So anyway all working now.
That's good news. So you have Jamstix 4 beta working on an M1 mac using Big Sur? What DAW are you using?

Steve.
I am sadly a bit of a serial DAW collector and on second day of osx after 25+ years on windows (anyone remember Windows 3.1?) so learning fast.
Anyways DAWs:

> Reaper - All working well.
> FL Studio (I don't really use this) - Issues with graphics if you move the Jamstix window.
> Ableton Live Lite - not yet installed as I don't normally use this but can do if you want someone to try it.

Hope the helps.

Awesome. Any issues when installing? Did Jamstix manager install as expected?
That’s good to hear, and if I’m honest surprising to hear. I haven’t been able to use Jamstix 4 beta on mac for a year; your success has inspired me to give it another go. Pleas keep us posted on your progress and thanks a lot for your replies.
I tried to use Jamstix playing midi files from guitar Pro without success. I checked the GM map and all others but no sound ... any idea?
A kit I loaded an di can get sounds from it when clicking on the drums.
I posted this on another thread and emailed support but neither resulted in a response. I was hoping someone might have an idea before I pay for a Win license for Boot Camp or rollback to Catalina from Big Sur.
Manager doesn’t launch. Ran it from the command line and got this:
