Jamstix 4.4.3 Beta 3 (macOS) is now available
Hi, sorry if this was discussed in the previous pages, I admittedly have not read this entire thread:
I would like to get the macOS beta of JS4. I am an owner of JS3 but purchased it before 08/2014. So for the JS4 macOS beta to be available to me, do I need to pay the upgrade price of $49, and then the beta will appear in my Jamstix Manager? Or is the beta not a public beta?
Thanks.

hmm strange. JS4 beta worked before on OS X, but now when I start it up in logic I'm getting a white window that says it can't communicate with the core GUI.

Make sure Jamstix 4 is not in the dock and then try it again. If it still fails, email me the logs via 'Email Tech Support' in the manager.Dewdman42 wrote:hmm strange. Hello all,
Is the Jamstix 4 Audio Plugin Server Window supposed to remain up and running after you've closed the DAW your using? Seem to remember the Jamstix 3 version of this shutting down a few seconds after the DAW was shutdown. I'm observing this with Reaper.

I assume this would apply to the OS X version also. If you add AutoCloseWaitTime=0 to your Jamstix.ini file, the server should shut down immediately. Is that correct Ralph?

Hi Ralph,
Just installed Jamstix 4 on macOS and very excited to get started.
Question: for Mac, do the installation files that get downloaded via Jamstix Manager automatically get deleted from my hard drive after install, or do they remain in some hard-to-find cache folder somewhere? Free space on my hard drive is limited these days, so if the files do remain, I would like to manually delete them.
