Cubase Marker Tracks/Song Sheet Request

I have been trying to create marker tracks in Cubase to match Jamstix song sheets and while doing this, I wondered if there was a way in Cubase to import a marker track.

Looks like one can from a MIDI file.

Would be a great feature in Jamstix to be able to export a MIDI file with the marker information.

Along similar lines when manually creating the tracks it would be helpful to see the bars where the parts start to save a few minutes counting bars when adding a marker track manually.

In JS4, Shift+Drag the song name in the Song Sheet to export your Jamstix song structure as a midi file. It will be written to C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\jamstix.mid.

Keep your eyes on the information bar in the lower left corner of the JS GUI. It provides a lot of useful information when your cursor is over a GUI element. I overlook it sometimes myself.

Cubase users - this is very handy. Take advantage of this functionality.

After playing with this, may be helpful to have a dialog box to save the midi file in the place of choice so it doesn't get accidentally overwritten the next time the function is performed.
