We've been 'cooking' a 'Bill' model for quite a while now. Hopefully it will be release-worthy next year.
Great, now I'll have to buy a bigger monitor just to fit all of the Brain controls! I'd have no idea how to even approach modelling that one LOL.

Jamstix 4 is awesome. Never thought that the 3d feature could give such a great feeling. To watch like the drummer plays with or without sticks is fantastic. To set the drums to every color isn't just a gimmick, it's fun! Midi mapping with SSD4 works fine, too. Great.
I have a little problem with snare rolls. At recomposing it's too quiet in my opinion, so I always have to click with the right mouse button to change every snare roll from "quiet" to "loud". I'm not in a circus, I`m playing Rock! :) Is there a value to set this as default?
Great work man.
Thank you.
Hey statusquo_fan,

Have you tried simply turning up the Min Vol knob in the Kit window for the Snare or adjust the Velocity Behavior graph? Just trying to suggest something that might help.

I've been working with the user via email. It looks like it's a MIDI mapping problem.

a_zimuth, thanks for trying to help.

Hey Ralph, I checked it again a few moments ago and now it works fine with both kits I sent to you. I built the snare rolls once again in Jamstix 4 and now it works. Maybe there was a problem with the created bars in Jamstix 3 when I loaded the song in Jamstix 4. I really don't know.

Hi Ralf,

I think there could be a problem running the jamstix manager with the last update inside daw. I lost all my kits during installations of last update this way. Then I tried the "repair" function, dont help, got an error message. Then I opened the jamstix manager outside daw while daw was closed, now evrything is fine again. I assume some rights problems while inside daw, maybe it is a good tip to prefer running jamstix manager outside daw ?

We are readying manager 1.1.0, which will alert you to close the DAW when launched from it. It also has various fixes and enhancements. Should be out in just a bit.

i saw the same thing and i see that Ralph is on it. But all you did was simply open the JS Manager outside of the DAW and that got you running again?

i did the same thing but that didn't do it for me so i did a repair on just JS (the top choice in the Manager) and that got me running again.

Brian

Thanks

Hi Ralph,

I just tried the latest Manager on my Win 7 computer and the Access Violation still occurs upon loading. Sent you an email with the logs.

Congratulations Ralph and all at Rayzoon with this release. Good things come to those who wait. :D

Up and running here with the full version of JS4 (update from JS3). I spotted in Reaper that the 64bit dll was not recognised. I renamed the 32bit dll jamstix4x32.dll and Reaper was then able to recognise both. All good. :D
