I also see it appears as VST2, not as VST2.4.
The other two blacklisted plugins that I have are also reported as VST2.
Jamstix 3, on the other hand, is reported as a VST 2.4 instrument and loads with no problems.
Please email me these files:

- Documents\Jamstix3\rzdlog.txt
- c:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\Installer\log.txt
Just sent them to your mail. Eager to test JS4!!
Just to inform that, with Ralph´s help, my problem was solved.

Do you have a folder c:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins? And, if so, does it contain a Jamstix aaxplugin?
I look and there is no jamstix 3 aax plugin. i use no avid pro tools. but i have install some time ago the free version of pro tools to look what it can do.this can not use aax plugins. but the folders are here and jamstix 4 aax plugin is in this directory. but ilok freeze in jamstix 3 and i start no avid

No, this is for users running the Jamstix 4 Beta, which comes with a manager tool for easy updating.
I am using the Jamstix4 beta and I do not see manager tool?

It's the tool you downloaded from a link in your original beta email.

Yes, it's a false positive hitting on the copy protection. We're trying to work that out but be assured it's a false positive.

We just got an EV code certificate and it almost looks like Microsoft knows about it and started to alert yesterday since the certificate was not yet used to sign our code files.

I've just signed all the code files with the new cert and also modified the copy protection settings to reduce likelihood of false positives.

Please do this to check this out:

- open Jamstix 4 manager and connect
- set Jamstix RC1 to 'Re-Install'
- click Start Install

There should be no alerts or issues.

RC2 is now out. I recommend you delete the 'C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\midimaps' folder prior to updating since that folder was re-organized.

The Beta phase has concluded and this topic is now locked.

Please run Jamstix4Manager to install the full version of Jamstix 4. If the manager tells you that you do not have a Jamstix 4 license and you feel this is in error, please let me know. Otherwise, enter the customer key 'FREE' to get the free version of Jamstix 4. More information on this will be posted shortly.
