I use Jamstix to host Steven Slate Drums 3.5. Unfortunately the drive Slate drums was installed on failed and I am unable to re-install it.
The installer only gives the option to uninstall. Will not uninstall because the drive it was on is not available (F:/ invalid drive message) . Trying the install again still has only the option to uninstall. I have tried going through the registry to delete the entries for the program but still get the same message.
Slate no longer supports the program and will not help me. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff

You could try a usb thumbdrive assigned drive letter f: and let it run its uninstall, then try to re-install. I don't know if it will work though since you deleted a lot of the Registry entries. Worth a shot.

Thanks for the response a_zimuth (clever idea), but Slate took care of it after all. Sorry I didn't get back here sooner but real life called!a_zimuth wrote:You could try a usb thumbdrive assigned drive letter f: and let it run its uninstall, then try to re-install.
