As Ralph himself explained..it serves no particular purpose, I just think it's a pity he felt he needed to spend time making it [i:33e46ae8ef]prettier[/i:33e46ae8ef]..by adding 3D drum kit..
I hope it's optional

Personally, i dont care if the kit is 3D either but I get it... Many people are attracted to pretty things. Even those of us who claim to be utilitarian sometimes get caught staring at shiny things.
I wouldn't say its a pity, it is just business and product marketing.
If it helps attract more users and allows the continued growth of Jamstix then it is all good.

Fills.
I want to drag-import a selection of midi file in my DAW;
Specify where a fill(s) is to start (*relative to the length of the selection*;
Be able to *audition* variations, have them labeled in a sequence. This way I can come back after the fact an pick one (repeatability seems to be a problem with Jamstix);
Be able to drag it back out to my DAW.
ALTERNATIVELY,
To be able to drag a selection in and have the following attributes changed/added - simply from a menu selection! :
ghost strokes
hat accents
cymbal crashes
..and of course, fills.
But the main thing I'd like to see in an update is solid performance, and *repeatability*.

LiveLoop is probs the way I'll be using it as well - can you add me to that list please?Ralph [RZ] wrote:It's the arrow circle to the right of the bar/beat counter. I'll add your name to the list of potential testers for LiveLoop. Thanks!chill_human wrote: I don't see a label for it, but live loop will still be a part of JamStix right?
