Best way to handle a chorus that has repeated 3/8-5/8 bars?

Right now since each chorus repeats the 3/8-5/8 [size=9:10d5f27fe1](ONE two three - ONE two three FOUR five)[/size:10d5f27fe1] about 4-8 times , I don't know how to have a single part labelled "Chorus" ... right now the "Chorus" is spread over 8-16 parts (3/8 followed by 5/8 followed by 3/8 ...). And so, since there are 3 choruses, the song winds up having a zillion parts , which makes it harder to navigate and takes much longer to load up/save/etc.

But really, the biggest headache with all these parts making up a single chorus is that applying a brain element to the chorus takes many steps, since I have to apply it to all the many parts, one at a time.

Can someone suggest in very simple terms an easier way to get around that please?

there's no way to set accents on an 8/8 measure repeating?

anyway, I've faced this issue many times. There's no way around it. Wait for jamstix 4.

I'm not so good on time sigs ... I'm thinking of making one bar of 8/8, (with Groove Weight hits on 1-4-7) to replace the current 3/8 bar followed by a 5/8 bar (that has empahasis counts: ONE-two-three-ONE-two-three-FOUR-five) ... if that sounds nuts to someone, please let me know!

(My JS project takes forever to save ... hoping by getting rid of a zillion parts this way that it will become easier to work with).

Hi Alexis,

If you load the Verdiales Groove Weight, that is exactly what will happen. I'm terrible with music theory myself so I usually just do whatever I have to do to make stuff "fit". I'm sure most of what I do would be frowned upon by trained musicians but if I'm happy with it, so be it. Should have kept playing Piano back when I was a kid.
