Jamstix 3.6 OSX - Final RC Available
Hi to all. I wanted to point out a few minor problems encountered using the Beta version of Jamstix under Logic X 10.7. The plug-in screen is divided into two parts and moving the window of one of the parties, the other has a certain delay to compose the first. Compared to the Windows version, the levels of the component parts of the kits are different and you have to correct them. However, having created the Mac version is a beautiful thing. Compliments.

That is normal for now as OSX does not allow window sharing across processes. Unlike most other plugins, Jamstix uses two separate and synched processes.av_music wrote:The plug-in screen is divided into two parts and moving the window of one of the parties, the other has a certain delay to compose the first.
Can you give me an example?Compared to the Windows version, the levels of the component parts of the kits are different and you have to correct them.

I Kore 2, blank white guy window', 'as the title says: Using JS in Kore2 I only see a blank white ui window instead of the actual ui. When I move the window, I temporarily see the js ui (which seems to be drawn behind the white rectangle) but it moves behind the window again...

There is only a small difference in the timbre of the instruments, but I suppose this is due to the different hosts (Logic x for Mac and Win Forte 3).

I experience something similar in Mavericks 10.9.3. When JS first paints, the window is white until I drag it to a new position. Then it paints properly.Tab_Sel wrote:as the title says: Using JS in Kore2 I only see a blank white ui window instead of the actual ui. I can see two windows in Mavericks latest using cubase 7.5x and logic X.x and understand from previous posts it is necessary to have the two.
sigh...
What I also would like to know, once again, is if anyone is seeing issues (in folders or files appearing and disappearing or just not showing up) when using the import function when loading styles? Ive ask this 3 times now and would like to know if its just me or????
Thanks for putting up with my persistence...

Hey Ralph- do you have an ideal target for the recommended buffer size to use? I've been tweaking around with my system lately during recording things and had my buffer size in LPX down to 128. Jamstix was not happy about that setting at all when I added it to a project which doesn't surprise me. I upped the buffers to 512 and though it was better, it still wasn't perfect. I haven't upped it to 1024 but the I'm sure that will be enough, but do you think its reasonable to need to go that high?
