Are your music computers connected to the Internet?
my PC is always connected to the Internet. but i will not support anything that *requires* an internet connection. if this is optional - great, i'll happily use it. but Internet connection only works until it doesn't, and then it's too late. therefore, there must be a fallback.
that said, i would really like for this tool to allow setting up custom paths. i.e. it wouldn't download and install everything into a "default" location but rather allow me to pick the locations myself both for Jamstix data and VST plugin paths.

Yes I am connected here. I think this would be a good idea, providing you can choose which folder to place the Jamstix plugin in. I like to keep my third party plugins in their own folder, separate from plugins installed by programmes such as Reaper or Samplitude Music Studio

Are your music computers connected to the Internet?
No my music PC is not connected to the internet. Nor will it be connected.
I have not and will not spend money on products that are only installed and authorize with a mandatory internet connection. (Think Addictive drums, CW Rapture Pro).
Love this product. Please offer an alternative to on-line only install/authorization.

Not connected. I avoid like the plague ALL online installers. If JamStix goes down that road I will simply use GrooveAgent which come with Cubase.
