Importing midi grooves from BFD2

Post by Tech_DAWg »

I've created some midi grooves with [b:79b08ef856]BFD2[/b:79b08ef856] in [b:79b08ef856]Reaper[/b:79b08ef856]. I would like to import them in Jamstix to let it create a complete drum part from those grooves. The [b:79b08ef856]BFD2[/b:79b08ef856] kit is loaded in [b:79b08ef856]Jamstix 3.5.0[/b:79b08ef856].

When I try to load my midi groove, if I choose [b:79b08ef856]'Use Current Key Mapping[/b:79b08ef856]' which is BFD2, I get no Hi-Hat. If I choose [b:79b08ef856]'General MIDI'[/b:79b08ef856] I get the Hi-Hat closed tip but the Hi-Hat shank is replaced by a Tom. Can I make my own keymap to import grooves from BFD2, if so, how, or does one exist somewhere?
