Hello! Unfortunately, after installing Beta18 appeared the same problem as that of the jas_lan: Launch Electronic kits does not respond to MIDI messages none of downloadable ePac Kicks this set. At the same time, the loadable acoustic Kicks other sets this works. Kicks in this case it is impossible to move and remove side. Reinstalling JS and content not solve this problem. I sent the information Ralph, but apparently he was busy and could not answer.

I stopped at Beta 17 when some reports were posted which looked concerning. Since than I have not seen any reason to try Beta 18. 17 is actually working nicely for me in Reaper.

I posted another message about this but I fear in the wrong place. So again:
Sonar crashes either when attempting to insert the VST or scan the vst folders with it's plugin manager.
I have tried three things:
1. A clean install of 3.60 after uninstalling 3.50
2. Installing 3.60 without uninstalling 3.50
3. installing 3.60 without uninstalling 3.50, then copying the backup rtxc file back into the Jamstix 3 folder.
All yielded the same result.
What am I missing here?

Sounds like a file mismatch. What OS and SONAR version is this with? Please also send me Documents\Jamstix3\rzdlog.txt and apslog.txt (if it exists).

Eight hours in JS 3.6 Beta 17, yesterday. Overall very happy - got the job done. I did have the problem reported in other threads about JS losing the song! That's a biggy. Also, had the GUI go blank a time or two, but it was easy to get the details to reappear.

Most of my hosts open this window on VST scan when I'm not even using Jamstix and I really don't see this as good behaviour of a plugin. Imagine more plugins starting stuff like that and plastering the desktop?
I personally would prefer having this as an option I can disable - the scenarios it's supposed to help with don't apply here.
Or at least make it into a tray-icon so it's out of the way.
Cheers,
Tom
I have to agree. It almost looks like some kind of debug mode or something, nothing really useful displayed there for the User. A JS option to leave the server running to make loading faster in other hosts would be fine, but it shouldn't be automatic and shouldn't require a dedicated window. As above, what if other plugins went that route and left their "servers" running?

Beta 20 is now out. Please report any outstanding issues, especially if you get the 'song forgetting' issue. Thanks!

Just a short run with beta 20 tonight but everything seemed flawless. And a little surprise that I think many will like!
