AVLM - need to download new paks?

Post by jambrainiac69x »

Could someone clarfiy this ( from 3.x manual)

[i:cf5b443264]Beginning with Jamstix 3, all Rayzoon kits will be packaged for the new AVLM engine in Jamstix 3. Older sounds are still supported by Jamstix 3 but do not use AVLM.[/i:cf5b443264]

I have all the paks, but have had them since pre 3x. Do I now need to redownload them? or are they not AVLM ready? ( if not, are they ever going to be, or was that something that had to be done when they were first created?)

AVLM is only available with JS3 kits and any future Paks. No need to re-download older Paks and they will not be updated to use AVLM.

Does that include the kits that come with the 3 XL version?

AVLM - need to download new paks?

I can;t seem to get any of the kits to adjust the DYN button. I looked in the kits folder and all of them have .j2k extensions. Which Kits are the js3 kits. I wanted to fiddle with AVLM to see what it can do, but I can't seem to kind a Kit that lets me adjust it. Any hints Ralph?

Edit: Never mind I was just unlucky enough to select 10 kits in a row that wer JS2 Kits. I got it now. Thanks
