When I use the Wizard it doesn't seem to pick up the time signature of the host. Is there a way to tell the Wizard what the time signature should be? If not currently possible is that a feature that can be added in the future?

Time sigs only matter if you have sig changes enabled in the options. Otherwise the host time sig is always used. If you do have sig changes then you have to set parts manually anyway.

We're working on some issues that several testers found. Once we have those fixed, A9 will be released with them. After that it will be new features, including the PD generator.

Hi there,
first of all the improvements in v3.0 are really helping my workflow (specifically changes in the beat and kit editors) so I already put a preorder.
got a couple of questions though:
I have an instance of battery3 inside JS 3.0a8, I loaded various samples for every kit pieces and the articulations I need and assigned the midi notes to everything. So far so good.
Then I set some ghost notes in the accent page but I cannot tell JS to trigger the specific "ghost" sample I have in battery, it keeps playing the regular snare, just with a lower velocity. I reckon that in the snare setting page there's no "ghost" articulation to assign so I'd like to know if I'm missing something..
also, is there any chance that js3 will have some more electro/house/techno oriented features? Basically I'm referring to the 'machine' drummer, that IMO could be even more machinesque, for example being able to automatically compose those long rising snare fills typical of drummachines, or even some reverse snare/cymbal here and there.
Anyways, keep up with the already great work you're doing with v3.
Cheers

The B3 issue ought to be fixed in A9. Concerning e-sounds, once JS3 is done we can look at that for future updates.

Ralph-
I have contracted a very unpleasant social disease as a result of Jamstix 3 beta A8. I am hoping that A9 will provide some relief to the itching and burning urination...your thoughts?

Instead of A-9, I'm afraid you need A-moxicillinNathanB_30 wrote:I have contracted a very unpleasant social disease as a result of Jamstix 3 beta A8. I am hoping that A9 will provide some relief to the itching and burning urination...your thoughts?
