Happy New Year to all.I think we are all feeling the pinch with the old Credit Crunch so here's a bit of rock to let you know we are all in the same boat(and it's sinking<grin>

It's an homage to one of my favourite old bands AC/DC.No one can get their sound but I had fun doing this.

This mix is awesome. Love the AC/DC style, I checked it from your reverbnation page. Huge guitars. If I had to offer one piece of advice, it would be to dry up the snare a little bit and compress to bring it forward in the mix. But that's just my opinion. Otherwise, greatness. Nice lead work too.

Thanks for taking the time to listen.I was actually trying to get the snare to sound like the,"Live" sound of AC/DC on a couple of their mp3s I have. Not easy as they have their own distinctive sound and of course their long time friend and engineer,"Vanda" if memory serves me :)

I think you had the right idea with the verb, but maybe there's too much of a wet/dry ratio there. Without having a copy of the mix it's hard to say, but I might try increasing the dry signal and just adding a shorter fuller verb to it... but it's not worth sweating over, the mix sounds great, and I think only us over obsessive types would pick up on it. Keep rockin!

I've just been messing around running Reaper off a USB flash drive. This was re-mastered and rendered on the USB stick as per,

New Mix,

Re-did the bass and dried up the snare and made a really HOT master FX chain
