Finally I have concluded that I want to be able to Lock the SEND TO MIDI Channel when loading kits. (I mean both Drums and Jamcussion Kits - I'm routing the former to CH 10, and the Latter to CH 11, so that I can set Superior Drummer to only Listen to CH 10 (If I set the Drums to route to CH 1 then I would set Superior Drummer that way - that much makes no difference, Jamcussion being routed to something other than CH 1, and Superior Drummer being told to neglect at least THAT Jamcussion MIDI CH is what I was looking for.).
So to effectively work like this I think apparently I need to load kits one at a time and set their MIDI send Channels this way and re-save them. (OR maybe there's an option to lock the KIT MIDI CH routing already. If not wonder if it wouldn't be a good thing to add if not - it can be a confusing process - damned if you do damned if you don't i suppose. I didn't realize that the MIDI CH routing was contained in the settings for individual kits. I understand why that would be. Its so overwhelming at times to learn so many programs at once, having forgotten Reaper, forgotten how to work with Jamstix, etc, etc.
