Bar Editor Questions
I'm using JS4 and the JS Classic Style set for 8th note ride. I removed some rides and one of them turned into a hi-hat for no apparent reason. I tried to change the note back to a ride but part of the menu is off the screen at the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not following you C_A. Part of what menu is off the screen? Can you post a link to a screen shot illustrating what you are talking about?

When I right click to open the menu, it goes off the screen at the bottom, so some of the menu items are not accessible. Usually when you click a menu at the bottom of the screen, it will open upward and if you click a menu at the top of the screen, it will open downward.
The JS4 surrounding window is larger than it needs to be, that's another problem I've been having.
I'm guessing that the hi-hat is the default sound, that's why it appears even though the style is using ride.

Hi C_A,
To me that looks like a scaling issue with the FX window of your host, Cakewalk right? That is just a guess however, I don't have Cakewalk. I would send an email to support using the Manager app and include the link to your screenshot so Ralph can check it out.
The reason that the Hat icon appears while the Ride is playing is because, as you noted, the original composition uses the Hat but the Power Hand play filter min power setting converts them "on the fly". I didn't realize that for a long time either.

JS4 is scalable. If it's too big, the menu screens will be off screen.

Not on my Win 10 computer. When scaled, the Jamstix GUI itself will be too large to fit on screen but all menus remain the same size.Grem_Songs wrote:JS4 is scalable. If it's too big, the menu screens will be off screen.
