Hi there. It has been a long time since I've used JS. So I have probably made a few errors which is leading to issues.
I have an audio backing track on separate tracks. Guitar, piano, bass, drums. I don't like the drum track and I want JS to create something better. So I have put an instance of audiom8 on each audio track and I am playing back in audio jam mode for JS.
I have a few problems but the first is that as JS plays along (overall successfully) it isnt writing the drum parts to the window at the bottom that shows the four bars and what drum parts are being written where. I can hear drums but this window is empty. Can anyone help?

Various issues in JS
Hi munmun,
That's not how AudioM8 is used. It is used to monitor an incoming audio signal so the Power Level in Jamstix is varied according to the signal strength and is placed before Jamstix in the track FX chain.
Regarding not seeing the drum hit being composed, are you in the Groove window? If you're in the Accent or Fill window you may not see any events.

Hi there. Another issue. In Jamcussion when I drag the midi track into my DAW, it comes up empty. No midi. And yet I can hear Jamcussion playing a track. Can anyone help?

Please do a 'Save MIDI FIle...' from the export dialog instead of dragging and then drag that file into the DAW. If it s still empty, please do a 'Save Song' in the JS4 song menu and send me the resulting file.
