Flamenco not working

Post by Voltago »

That's my setup: Jamstix 4 with Cubase 9.5 Pro and Reaper in Windows 10 x64.

I have all paks ans everything runs well. Except for Flamenco. When I switch to percussion and use any Flamenco style with any drummer and the Flamenco kit there is no sound. No sound when I click on the instruments and no sound during playback. All hits are disabled during playback as the screenshot shows.
Of course I tried to enable all outputs in the mix but with no change.

If you look at the image you posted it states "No Kit Piece" in the information line. Did you load a Jamcussion kit? If you open the Jamstix Manager does it show the Flamenco pak is properly installed?

Yes, I loaded the flamenco kit and also tried the second flamenco kit with Cajun and Darbuka.
I also repaired the installation just to make sure it's not corrupted.

In addition, I just saw that it says "Kit loaded 0 MB". Any idea why?

Hi Voltago,

No I don't know, it indicates that the Kit is not loading, obviously. I would try doing a full download/reinstall of the Flamenco Pak with the Manager instead of attempting to repair it next. If that doesn't fix it, use the Jamstix Manager to e-mail Support and attach the files to the e-mail.

Sorry that I can't give you a definite answer on this one.
