BonzoPak - missing sounds - ***SOLVED***
Hi,
I just installed BonzoPak, and the BonzoPak standard kit reports 18 missing files. Other kits in this pack have missing sounds also - mostly snare and toms.
I have all the Jamstix 2 and 3 kids installed, and I installed all 3 BonzoPak files.
I noticed on the forums that some people experienced this due to not loading the JS2 kits; do I need to reinstall them after installing the BonzoPak?
Thanks.

The log shows the files missing. Please run Cubase via right-click->Run As Admin and install Bonzopak again.

Please check that any files exist with this name (plus suffix and extension):
E:\Program Files\jamstix3\data\sounds\Kick - 26'' Ludwig Maple BoP
If not, please search your drives for files with 'Ludwig Maple' to see if they installed somewhere else.

Hi,
I searched all three of my drives, and in the folder you referenced previously, there are four "Ludwig Maple" files, but they are all .bmp files.

This would indicate that BonzoPak is not installed. Please set permissions for 'E:\Program Files\jamstix3\' to read/write everyone in Explorer. Start Cubase and install the 3 BonzoPak RXP2 files again.

This time I:
1) Added "Everyone" to the folder and subfolders of "Jamstix3"
2) Ensured read/write/modify permissions
3) Ran Cubase as Administrator
4) Reinstalled BonzoPak
5) Loaded the BonzoPak Standard kit, and still 18 sounds are missing
6) Searched the entire computer, and as before, only the .bmp files exist for "Ludwig Maple"
I am very confused by this. I can't see any reason that they will not install - I own pretty much every other Pak and MiniPak, and they all work. Plus I spend my days working in IT, so I know my way around a computer.
Sorry to be a pain, but, is there anything else I could try? Can I install the Paks outside of Cubase? I see the installer .exe.
Thanks for your responses and assistance thus far.

Yes, you can run PakInst.exe by itself. Try his:
- close Cubase
- run PakInst.exe and install 3 Bonzo files again
- start Cubase and see if it works now
If not, send me rzdlog.txt again.
