Hi Ralph-

Just wondering if there's anything else we could provide to help sort this out. I'm still having problems with REAPER 4.01 and JS 3.1.3 beta 5. Here's the latest when I tried loading a project template with JS:

Faulting application name: reaper.exe, version: 4.0.1.6, time stamp: 0x4e482c07
Faulting module name: jamstix3.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x2a425e19
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000044e2
Faulting process id: 0x990
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc5b10b2593dab
Faulting application path: D:\Program Files\REAPER\reaper.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\jamstix3.dll
Report Id: e5b18686-c708-11e0-912a-00223fdbbb7e

I opened REAPER again, inserted a track, loaded JS, and when I tried to 'Load Song' from the JS GUI, REAPER disappeared with no error message. There was no rzdlog.txt file created either time.

Thanks-

Hi Ralph-

Just wondering if you're still looking into this. I've been reluctant to use Jamstix much lately due to these problems, and I miss it! If it's something weird about my system so be it, but I'm not seeing similar issues with other VSTis.

Please let me know if there's something else I can try or send to you.

Thanks-

Please uncheck 'Load On Demand' in the JS3 Options and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Ralph-

I haven't turned that back on since you first suggested disabling it.

Thanks-

Having just experienced this problem with JS3 and Reaper 4 I'm glad I found this topic!

First, I'm pleased that this problem is NOT unique to my set-up! Having taken great care over uninstalling and reinstalling both Reaper (4.02) and JS3 (3.2.0 RC1) and still having these crashes in Reaper I was finally driven to check in this forum (I know, I should have looked here first)!!

Second, Ralph's suggestion to disable "Load on Demand" and changing the priority from "Higher" to "Normal" has for me at least for now resolved the basic problem; I can now open projects that contain JS3 tracks without Reaper crashing!

However, based on the experiences of others posting here who have made at least one of these changes but without permanent benefit a more "certain" and "permanent" resolution would be very welcome!
