Assigning default drums to percussionists

Hi-

I've loaded the Custom style with the Afro-Cuban Kit. How do I tell JC that I want the [b:dadf51d392]default [/b:dadf51d392]instrument for L1/R1 to be Bongos (Drums 1 & 2) instead of Congas (Drums 3&4)? Do I have to edit the kit to do this?

Yes, editing the kit is the way to go.
