Just bought Jamcussion!

Post by acabreira »

Hi, Ralph. I finally bought Jamcussion, but since I don´t work with credit card anymore, I borrowed from a friend. I paid via Share-it and the payment was already confirmed. The e-mail that´s been registered is the one I use for Jamstix, so I ask you if both accounts will be connected. Will the same download link apply for both products (not big deal anyway)?

But what I really want to ask is if you have received the payment confirmation?, as I wait eagerly for the download link... :D

Thanks

Your delivery went out on Friday night EST to your Jamstix address. Have you still not received it?

Yes, Ralph, I have received in the same day. Really fast as always.

Been already playing with it I`m enjoying every minute, it`s really inspiring! Been trying to create some basic percussion grooves to some songs for a while, but with less than satisfying results. Now I´m excited about the possibilities. I have a few observations, though.

Right-clicking elements in the brain controls to CC assignment freezes host (both SONAR 8 sand Cubase SX3).

One feature request I´d like to make is that should be possible to mute not a beat, but a specific cell. It seems let styles create their grooves but custom edit them instead of creating your own grooves from scratch produce some nice results in two bar patterns mostly in some Jamcussion busy grooves, but also in Jamstix as well. Or at least mute to only one of the percussionists.

And to be totally honest, I don´t understand well what the behavior settings do, except that ´skip hi´ mutes all the notes :D. Although I did not experiment enough with that, could you please give some basic examples?

As always, thanks for the fast and prompt service.

Thanks for your suggestions.

"Behavior" affects what the element does in response to song power. For example: 'Skip Lo' stops the element when song power drops low.

Ah, I got it now. I had a totally different idea. But what´s the reference for Hi and Low?

And the right-click problem, are you aware of?

Thanks.

'Skip Lo' - skip when song power is low
'Skip Hi' - skip when song power is high

No, haven't heard of that and can't duplicate it here so far.
