JS for multiple users

After upgrading the OS on my PC (if you can call Vista an upgrade ), I've taken to keeping a separate user account from the admin just to keep things in better working order. Part of this is because I'm finding that the folder structure in Vista is considerably different, so I'd prefer not to jack anything up that I can't just easily fix.

Now most programs I install as the admin seem to work equally well with my limited user account. However, I just loaded up Reaper in my limited and realized that none of the settings of the admin have carried over, including my installed kits.

I don't have a heck of a lot of drive space, so is there a way I can somehow access the kits installed by the admin account without just copying and pasting or installing again from the limited?

Log in as administrator and set the access rights on the entire Jamstix2 folder to include your limited account.

Apologies for my apparent opacity.

The problem, it seems, was that, when I first installed Jamstix and pointed Reaper to it, in pointing it to the entire install folder rather than the data folder, Reaper couldn't seem to find the data. Consequently, when I installed new kits, it created a folder for them in a subfolder deep in the admin's AppData folder. I probably should have explained this in more detail, but I merely took it as given that, for some reason, this is where JS placed the data in Vista.

After finally running a few tests to see how programs fare when installed on another partition (because I was-- for some reason-- sure that that was not a viable option), I managed to actually free up some drive space and simply moved JS to that partition. I pointed Reaper to the data folder, everything installed, entered license codes, and so far, everything's sugar for the limited user now.
