How do I change a Jamcussion kit without erasing drum kit

I'm having problems changing Jamcussion kits and drum kits. When I change either kit the adjacent kit is somehow erased. Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

Drumkit and Jamcussion kit are separate kits. You must load the drumkit when the drum icon at the top of Jamstix is active and the Jamcussion kit when the percussion icon is active.
