Re-installing Jamstix and pak\'s from v1 through to v2.5

Ralph - You've got to be the fastest 'gun' in the West. That was an amazing turnaround.

I had just stumbled on the "Import" command in the JS2 Bar Editor even as your reply was winging its way to me. It reads "import JS1 Fill" and points me straight to my C:\Jamstix 1\Accents folder and there are the files. So JS1 Accents are JS2 Fills - right? BUT, are they all fills or at least can they all be treated as fills?

Thanks also for pointing me to Import JS1 Fills from the JS2 Part Menu.
This one I should have picked up from the manual which I was just about to read through again.

And I fully understand your comment on JS2 not really needing these presets due to its own production engine. You've proved yourself a genius with developing that - just that listening to some presets, then short-listing some and then playing over the 2 or 3 favourites over and again to make your choice is somehow easier for me. How can that process be followed in JS2 as easily. I appreciate you can keep hitting the "recompose" button, but to then how to save 10 and then shortlist to 3 etc.? I suppose I'm really referring to Fills.

Not complaining at all. I'm totally happy now with your help and the product - just wait for your final answers which might help others on the forum.

The 'accents' folder of JS1 contains fills and accents. You can treat them all as fills.

The key is to use the fill controls and style/drummer selection to somewhat direct the fill generator to what you need. You can use 'Save Fill' to keep versions and then pick the one you like the most.
