How come I only hear hats, and then fills?

Post by Foster_dog »

nd then fills?', 'Please help -- I'm frustrated. :x

I've owned Jamstix for awhile now, but only know have I had a chance to use it. I'm trying to get a good trainstep thing going for a bluegrass tune. I've set that style with "James Stix" on the skins, set up the song. I can see it composing a good boom-whack-boom-whack part, but all I hear is the hi-hat -- until the fill comes in, when I hear a snare and toms.

I'm sure there's some setting that's not right, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out.

Thanks very much in advance.

Sounds like song power knob is at minimum. Raise the knob to 100% and all will be well.
