I will have one of this!!

I would love a bodran in there too. :)

Maybe a little too far down the road to crowbar one in now.

Good stuff.

PS Just noticed the 22” Gong. I love a good gong.

Ralph

It sounds great. I will be near the front of the line to buy it. I am already hoping for a Taiko addon pack. Keep up the great work.

I am really waiting for this. Sounds very promising!

And: if you release an Indian add-on (especially tablas and dhols): I will be the first to order. (I believe, however, Indian rhythmic structure will be a challenge to the engine)

cheers, drjee

Wow.

The superlative sampling of the bonzo kit has now been carried on into the percussion. It all sounds so real and human. The demos are nearly played out before I can convince myself they are computer generated.

Can't wait to try this.

Digging out my Caravanserai cd to hear how its all done.

These demos sound terrific - instant endless variation within a defined structure will be such an asset. Static midi loops get old so quickly and variation needs to be preprogrammed.

I am guessing Jamcussion will respond to audio or midi input in the same way Jamstix does - is that correct?

Yes, it does. Mainly, it will reduce/drop pattern elements if velocity falls and also scale accent usage with velocity.

Yes, from what I understand that seems like the approach that fits with this sort of musical idiom. Percussionists work together and usually stick pretty faithfully within the set pattern and the other instruments in the rhythm section play parts to complement that basic pattern.
